is this normal?
It looks like our 2015 NuLuxe equipped ES did at 24K miles when we traded it. So it is normal in a sense, but perhaps not at such low miles. My wife and I also both outweigh you by 40+ pounds. I don’t recall exactly when it developed that appearance in our car. It may be a bit stretchier since it’s a synthetic fabric. I personally really like the NuLuxe as it won’t develop cracks like most real leather - and it has most of the characteristics of leather. Unless it gets noticeably worse, I’m not sure I would worry about it. You can talk to the dealer but from the photograph I doubt they would do anything.
Interesting point: our 2016 Lexus NX has the same NuLuxe seat covering and at 15K miles it does NOT have that appearance.

I'd say it's not ideal, but within the realm of normal. Would likely be deemed wear/tear. Not everyone weighs the same and not everyone gets in and out of the car the same, nor sits the same. So it would be hard to make a defect claim. You can try though..
