Even I shut the liner panel off STILL I can hear wind noise and no they didn't take off the door panels off. The big issue for me that I bought the car and shipped out of the United States so no warranty
When they do the tint without taking off the panel, they have to stick the squeegee tool into the bottom between the window and its inside weatherstrip. I wonder if the weatherstrip is somehow shifted and creates a slight gap or something inside. Tomorrow i will move the window up and down (3rd day after tint), and see if they will move the strip...
A friend commented how our other senses become heightened if one of them is dulled. In this case, could it be that when our sight is darkened by the tint, our hearing becomes more sensitive to noises?
i just checked the seals, nothing wrong with them - i think the wind noise comes from my car NOT being equipped with acoustic glass .... ES300h premium package
