Make sure the flash drive is formatted in FAT32, before you put the upload on it, or it won't be read/recognized by the car.
I did. I tried another flash memory. Still same issue. One i insert flash, it only shows massage that no musics found in usb. And the update botton is not valid. From where i can find lexus installations files other than their website?
The updates the dealer installed via USB appear to be the 1025 & 1028 referenced above. I'm going to ask him if these wouldn't get installed automatically at some point? Per UKEE above, if these have been available since April that's a bit concerning... if I had not asked would they have ever been installed?
If you followed the instructions, and have your drive properly formatted, and it still doesn't show the update, then it sounds like a trip to the dealer will be required.
The instructions also state that you should do this one file at a time, suggesting no other files should be present on the flash drive. Also, in reference to the "automatic update" question, NO these will not update automatically. I believe the issue is the size of these major updates but that is pure speculation on my part. The bottom line is that I am sure they will not update automatically. If you can't sort it out yourself the dealer can certainly assist.

The instructions I downloaded from the link posted above specifically say to insert a USB stick with both files copied on to it.
I just updated mine like everyone said I formated the USB drive in fat32 copied both files and the system recognized both files like 949mg something like that
worked well
I did check with my dealer tech guy regarding the usb updates. He does not believe they will be added to the automatic OTA updates... I’m not sure why.
Also, when he updated mine I specifically asked if both updates were on the usb stick... he said they were and they were both installed in the one update process.
