How do you do that? And are you merely saying that gives you the amount of airflow that's naturally forced by air intake at speed?

if you have the fresh air selected with the AC on And then turn off the AC you will still get the fresh air coming through the vents especially at highway speed. If you have it set to recirculate no fresh air comes in and when you turn the AC off no air comes in. You can also control the temperature of that air by having it selected before you turn the AC off, at least this is what I’ve noticed in my car. Of course if it’s hot outside that air is not gonna cool down but in the winter you can warm that air up.

On ES's with Nav just sweep to the right and touch the fourth (4th) icon down - the HVAC button
Now you can see and touch the green A/C control. As noted by others, if you have a visibility or
safety issue with fogging windows you can quickly stab the "Auto" dash button and the A/C will
be enabled instantly.
