First test drive impressions
I test drove a 2019 es 350 ultra luxury with all the options available. I was impressed with the ride comfort and quietness in the cabin over broken pavement and pot holes. Quietest car I've driven!
Tires: Bridgestone Serenity Turenza, didn't see if h or v rated.
The hybrid is a tad quieter in ev mode, but the v6 is more refined than the 4 cylinder.
Forgot to measure decibel levels at 65mph on newly paved/ rough pavement and engine idle.
Previous tested cars:
1990 / 2001 - Ls400
2006 / LS 430 - base/ CL/UL
2009 / 2013 LS 460 - base
2014 / 2019 GS 350 - luxury
2015 / Kia k900 - VIP
2019 Toyota Avalon - limited
2018 Toyota Camry - Xse v6

I was quite impressed with it also! Much better than the first generations of ES350's. If you have not driven this latest generation ES350, don't base any car comparison judgements based on prior generations!
