Multi-Touch Command
However, on the main screen under Settings ---> General there is a setting for "Multi-Touch Command" On or Off. I cannot figure out what this is for? I assumed it would affect the track/touch pad, but does not seem to make any difference set either way. I have the two owners manuals on the computer and have searched and the only place anything shows up is in the Nav & Multimedia manual... two places where there is a disclaimer that states:
"...Apple CarPlay Maps app is not compatible with pinch multi-touch gestures..." which would imply it is a touch pad thing...
"Select to set the multi-touch command on/off."
The other day I stopped at my local Lexus dealer and met with the Tech Specialist. He searched and could not come up with anything different. We sat in the car and tried turning it off (default is 'on') and it did not seem to make any difference. He was stumped... he said he would dig deeper and see what he can find out.
In the meantime I thought I'd ask here... anyone know what it does?
Thanks in advance!

So, while it does not affect Pinch-to-zoom it does control whether you can use just one finger; or either one or two fingers to perform functions like scrolling. I'll need to fool with it some, but the Tech did confirm he tried scrolling with it on vs off and it did control whether you could use two fingers.
