Does anyone know of a after market shelf that fits in the center console? I have one in my 2016 RX and it is great.

 

Just go to the OP of the 2016 thread, who found the box, they probably know the mfgs themselves or know how to find them.

 

My 2019 UL has the Qi charger in the center console... but I was frustrated with what to do with the remaining large box. I had several smaller items that fit in various places in my last car, no place for them in this car; and didn't want to just dump them all into the large box.
I went to our local Container Store with measurements of the box and spend an hour or better looking for solutions. I was pretty happy with what I came up with... thought others may be interested. It is basically a small (intended as a wall mount) pencil cup to hold pens and taller items that want to stand up; and two stackable organizer bins. They sell dividers for the bins and I did put two dividers in the top bin. It took a slight bit of maneuvering to get them in place initially, but once I figured it out they fit really well - and the top stackable bin is easily removed for access to the lower bin.
I've included photos below. You will note there was 1/2 inch or so of space next to the bins which turns out holds a couple cds.

Mine came with a shelf ! Its called the wireless charger that i dont use, it even has a built in coin heater if you turn it on

 

I loved this idea when it was originally posted. I want to promote it back up because I want to go to find this stuff and order from the Container Store. I was wondering @str8aero or anyone else if they can tell me the measurements that got for the box with no Qi charger. And even better, the item stock numbers of what was purchased.

Sorry I don’t have the stock numbers, although I think it is legible for one of the items in the photos. However I would think you could find all of them on their website?
Given that, these are for a car with the QI charger, I’m guessing a different configuration would be best for a car without the charger. I see where someone has posted what looks like a good one?
