2019 ES UL Rims
Are they actually chrome plated or painted silver?

The wheels are chrome plated - not painted...

One thing to consider is that curb rash on these wheels cannot be as easily repaired as the painted alloy wheels. I had mine repaired twice by sanding, smoothing, primering and painting. Can't do that with these...

Perhaps, I exaggerate. It's not the chrome that's a bit more work to clean. It's getting itno all the little spokes. And, the brake dust builds up pretty quickly. I broke down and bought a set of Wheel Woolies and that simplified it greatly. No personal experience with wheel rash; I drive and corner pretty carefully. But, the wheels are not chrome plated. They are actually a solid aluminum alloy wheel, so I suspect they could be sanded and polished as well

OK, thanks for the correction. I did think they were plated. Solid aluminum probably could be polished out.

Confirmed they are not Chrome plated, it's factory painted or powder coated hyper silver.

I bought a refinished set of 4 here:
https://www.hubcaphaven.com/p/25591/...er-silver.html

$1079.80 and they will powder coat them Black with a clear coat at no extra charge since they refinish the rims prior to shipping anyways. If you wanted the oem 18" noise reduction wheels this is the best price I have found.

So that link is for look alike rims not actual "noise reduction" rims? Have you used both? Was there actually a noticeable difference in terms of noise or ride quality?

It's not a replica, they are original Lexus wheels, takeoffs or from insurance cars. They check the wheels are true and refinish them prior to shipping.
Yes these are the 2019 ES noise reduction wheels.

I'm getting them next week, just placed the order today, but don't plan on installing them till spring.

Here is a screenshot of the Lexus brochure

I had premium 17" wheels on my 2013 ES and now have the 18" aluminum on my 2019. I cannot discern ANY difference from either size or noise reduction...

There are two sets of 18's for 2019 only one has the partially hollow spoke for noise reduction, it is a $950 factory option new. If you have it you will see the $950 option on the window sticker. The car reviews I have watched/read online that have ridden both rims back to back notice the difference, especially over expansion gaps and concrete or bad roads.

I paid the $950.00 option and would like to get my money back... No difference for me...
