Does the ES300h 2022 ML options have visual playback for DVDs? I heard it only works when parked. But is there anything else needed to make it work ? Perhaps specific DVD disc formats?

 

The 2022 LEXUS ES250,ES300H,ES350 NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL has the details on playing DVD videos 12.3 inch display equipped (i.e., navigation system equipped) models. See the DVD section on page 133 for playback restrictions, overview, and overall control instructions. On page 151, there's a DVD settings section. On page 156, there's a "CD/DVD player and disc" section covering CD and DVD allowable and non-allowable discs and similar type information on discs. And, finally, on page 165, there's a "Compatible video format" section which covers the supported video formats.
