Mark Levinson System
I've been reading some of they post on this forum about upgrading the ML system speakers in a 2019 ES-350. Does anyone know the impedance of the dash corner, center and door hf speakers along with the lower front door and the subwoofer. From what I am reading is critical with the ML amps.
I recall someone saying they are 3 ohm but I don't recall where I heard that from.
It would make sense, considering I replaced them with 4 ohm speakers and the overall maximum volume has decreased. There are 3 ohm aftermarket speakers available but the selection isn't nearly as good. I went with the Kicker KSC350 and have been very happy.

Thanks for replying to this thread. I actually read your thread and that’s where I started digging. I’m ok going up an ohm in impedance and that won’t hurt the amp but going down isn’t a good thing. I read somewhere that the subwoofer is 8ohms but then I also read it’s like 3 ohms.. I guess worse case scenario I could pull it and put a meter on that but I’m trying to avoid that right out of the gate.
