Triple Beam Headlight Mositure
After reading your post Mike, I went onto Utube and found that there should be a vent on the assembly. The video showed the person using a hair dryer at the vent opening and all of the condensation went away. This wasn't a Lexus ES. Now I don't know, and haven't looked, (its snowing outside) at ours but maybe this would apply to our ES 350's. You're probably getting the snow across the river too. Supposed to be nicer tomorrow... GOOD LUCK!

Hi Mike, there were at least 7 people on one of the 7th gen ES facebook groups (including me) that have experienced triple beam condensation. Funnily enough the passenger side on my 2019 also just got condensation November 2025 and I was somehow able to get Lexus corporate to entirely cover it under good will -- maybe it helped that I had L/Certified and had a good sob story (my first Lexus... etc lol).
Anyway, the condensation will eventually kill your headlight entirely if left unchecked. The rate depends on the frequency and severity of the condensation. Your daytime running lights will probably die and after a while your headlamp may fail entirely. I've personally only seen one person state that their headlamp failed, but I think they lived in a harsh environment and they let it go on for nearly a year or something.
I would not advise buying used because there's a chance they are also cracked. Others have run into that exact issue... Also I'm pretty sure Lexus does not sell individual components for the triple beams and only sells the entire assembly. Dealer will charge you $3500 per headlight, but Bell lexus will charge you $2500.
Fun fact: the 2022-2025 triple beams are only $1600 at Bell Lexus. I do not know if they are plug and play with our 2019 though.
That's a lot of money, so realistically I think for most of us the fix is to either

- Aftermarket triple beams (2 people on the FB groups have successfully done it and they haven't complained in the past 5 months)
- I personally would not go this route because I don't trust it
- Reseal
- If the lens seal fails and you can do a cheap fix by finding the failing section and just going over it silicone caulk after drying it out.
- If you want, you can remove the entire lens and then just reseal it
- If there's a crack in the lens, there's some sort of adhesive/epoxy to fix it -- not really familiar with this.
