I have a 2025 ES 350 F Sports handling ALMOST overtime I get in my iPhone Lexus APP asks me if I would like it to allow it to communicate with the Lexus multimedia LEXUS ES IGNORE or ALLOW
I have looked on the iPhone settings but can't find anything. I have looked on the infotainment, nothing.
HELP Pic below of what pops up on my phone every time I get in. SEEMS if I ignore it, I don't see anything different? OR IF I allow it, nothing different? WHAT IS GOING ON.
My GUESS is this is due to another phone (within Bluetooth range) that has been added to the car and is currently primary. I never had this with my ES but I had the older infotainment system. I have had later model year Lexus vehicles do this when my wife was the previous driver. But I only had to allow it once - until she drove it next. Again, this is just a guess on my part and I have only seen it a couple of times rather than frequently.
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm the only one that has an iPhone paired to my Lexus. No older phone either.
My partner has a iPhone but it's never been paired to Lexus.
I just got the same message when I started the car with my phone paired to my AirPods. I'm guessing your phone had a connection to another Bluetooth device when you started the car.
This happens and as far as i know nothing you can do except to ignore it and it will disappear. You can stop it by deleting the Lexus app but then you can't remote start the car and all. One thing to note is that if you interact with the message instead of ignoring it, car play will be very laggy for me. Its like the connection process gets interrupted to it doesn't make a good connection. I've found to let the message disappear on its own and to have car play fully booted up.
