Default Front Seat Rear Pockets

Anybody know where to find these front seat pockets? I'm not sure if I'm using the wrong term when searching but I can't find them. Also curious as to how much they cost.

Arent they the pockets that are behind the front seat back? The ones that are easily accessible by the person sitting in the back seat because it is right in front of them?

They are about $900. I had one replaced on a 22 ES 350 UL. Bad design in my opinion.. I went through my dealer.

Looking at the Bell Lexus site for “Cover, Front Seat Back, Right/Left", it looks that the around $900 price is about right, though you have to really study the diagrams to be sure. A call would be best to be sure of the exact item.

I don’t ind these (the price is ridiculous) but I think they look nice over all and the rocket part itself is sturdy. I like them better than the wrinkly piece of material some makers use, and the worst of all, IMO, are those big open weave elastic grocery bag looking things, like Audi still uses. They look so cheap, you can see everything in them, and the holes catch things on them.

Out of curiosity, why are you needing a replacement? Is there a repair an upholstery shop could make?

Is it that plastic panel that includes the seatback pocket you are looking for, or just the pocket itself? They will come in the different colors to fit your vehicle. Probably best to call a parts shop to describe exactly what you need and get the right price from them. From the Bell Lexus site it seems to me that the entire seat back assembly including the fans, wires, etc. is the $750-$900 item. Anyway best you call a local dealer and describe exactly what you are looking for or, better, drive over and show them. At least you will have a positive ID on the part you need. BTW, that weird "channel" up the back is to allow the seatback ventilating fan to draw air from under the seat and blow it through the cushion against your back. You could probably find one at a parts recycler too, the trick is to find the right color and condition. Good luck.

I’m with you. I can’t see how the piece of plastic can cost more than the dealership cost for a replacement wheel.

Yes I thought the cost was ridiculous consider what is made of. Luckily this was covered in my case.

The plastic hinge on both of mine have broken. They still do function in holding stuff but I just don't like the sagging look and knowing that it's broken is annoying.

That's annoying, if I want to fix both of mine then it'll be over $1000 for some plastic pockets.

Was it covered by warranty or insurance?

I bought a used ES350 UL from an independent dealership and did not know mine was broken until my wife placed her Ipad in the passenger side and it slid all the way through. The independent dealer paid to have it repaired. I agree it is a bad design, plastic? Will eventually break. The Lexus dealer would not cover under warranty.. Sorry

They should not fail…this is the first time I’ve heard of one that did. I keep a spare shopping bag in the one on the driver seat, the other is empty unless we’re hauling a grandchild around.

Thanks for the input all. Thankfully it turns out my dad knows a guy that works at a Lexus dealership as a mechanic. According to him he can get some used OEM rear pockets for a good bit cheaper than new.
