Default Super soft windshields or just me?

Does anyone else have any issues with the windshield excessively pitting? My 2024 Ultra Luxury has just over 15K miles and has the worst wear of any windshield I've ever had.

At first I thought it may have been microfiber/dust but no amount of cleaning inside or out removes the sparkles that are mostly seen when driving in direct sunlight.

Are you referring to the spots on the right side in the sun flare? doesn't seem like pitting to me as they don't seem even, and more grouped together but maybe its hard to see in this photo. Do you have windshield tint maybe?

Can you feel it with your fingernail?

Referring to the tiny dots all over underneath the sun.

No tint, it's hard to see unless you're in direct sunlight (but definitely makes it hard to see) so it's hard to track things down when outside the car.

Take it to the dealer. That's unacceptable.

My windshield is full of dots. I tried to polish it twice but it is not possible to remove them. They are not rock chips but more like acid burned.
Yours is under warranty. Ask your dealer to replace it.

I have heard of train transport causing some sort of iron specks causing a similar issue. Not sure how the cars are transported from Kentucky for delivery.

Iron specks are something else, they tend to stick on the doors and rear bumper.
This is a completely different issue.

Have you tried claying the windshield?

Where do you live? For years I lived in Arizona and the blowing sand, especially during the summer could cause lots of small pitting on the windshield.

Houston area. This is the only car I've owned that has done something like this.

I live south of Houston & the constant construction creates the perfect sand blast agent. Every car I’ve had if it gets driven into Houston looks like it got sand blasted.

I can't tell from the picture whether the damage is stains or pock marks.
