Has anyone replaced the front door speakers on a non-Mark Levinson system in a 7th generation ES 350? The factory amp supplies only bass frequencies to this speaker. It is very weak (given its low wattage) and does not add much fullness or bass to the music. What replacement speaker did you use? Did it require a speaker adapter? Did this improve your sound?
Crutchfield is probably your best source for this. Here's a decent option, I'd try to aim for a lower RMS value as you're using the factor amp (not sure what the output would be), you can do a 2 way speaker if you want. I'm partial to a component design because it's just doing the lower frequencies like you said. If you want better bass response also do dynamat (or equivalent) to cover up your door structure and make it more of a resonance chamber.

Update - I replaced the factory door speakers in my non-Mark Levinson system today. The factory speakers are only very cheap woofers. They produce little or no bass. Had extremely small magnets, plastic enclosures and the woofers were subpar. I replaced them with Pioneer TS-G690 6 X 9's, installed Dynamat Xtreme sound insulation material (10" x 10" squares) behind the speaker and secured the speakers with Metra speaker brackets for Toyota 2002 and up. The Pioneer speakers have a 400 Watt max rating with a 45 RMS. The sensitivity was 90 db. Powered by the factory amp (and not a high powered after-market amp) the door speakers now provide the necessary bass and fullness that was previously missing. I'm leaving the factory subwoofer and rear door speakers alone (for now). I previously replaced the corner dash speakers with 3.5" Infinity Ref307's many months ago. No need for a window-rattling subwoofer and 500 watt amp since I'm an old fart. Just want good audio . My tunes now sound more balanced, fuller and more powerful having replaced the factory dash and door speakers. The system is quite loud at a volume level of 30 plus and I'm hearing bass (which I play) in my music
The Pioneers are currently on sale at a nationally-known big box electronics store at $45.00. No need to buy expensive speakers with high-end components since the factory amp transmits only bass frequencies. Dynamat will cost you $25.00 and the Metra brackets another $20.00. For $90.00 (without installation costs) , a noticeable improvement without spending too much

By Metra “brackets”, do you mean wiringharness? If so, which one?

No, I mean the adapter that allows you to attach the speaker to the door. Note: you will need to drill two (2) holes in each adapter so that the adapter aligns with the Lexus door holes. (easy) Love the sound now. So clean, so clear, such depth, so much better than stock.
