I can turn mine off on my ‘21

 

My 2021 ES 350 does not sound with the BSM light would be nice it there was an option.

 

The Blind Spot Monitor does not chime when traveling forward and something is in your Blind Spot,
The same mirror mounted yellow lights And a chime sound when you are reversing and the
Rear Cross Traffic function triggers a warning. Note: the BSM and Rear Cross Traffic using the
roughly cell phone sized sensors hidden behind the ends of the rear bumper cover are Motion Sensors.
If the Rear Crossing Traffic stops directly behind you, the lights and chime will cease.

The Intuitive Parking Sensors, (the dime sized sensors you can see on the front and rear bumpers)
are Proximity Sensors so when they trigger an intrusion within the roughly five (5) foot range it will
continue to sound and light until you or the other object move apart.
