Geiger counter noise
It was happening again. I don't mind pulling the doors apart but i dont think it will help.
It sounds like plastic trims hitting each other when you are driving.. Not sure what you can do about it.
If I can identify which one trim/plastic part is causing the geiger counter noise, I can place some silicon based tape between the parts to remedy the noise.

You are describing a mechanical noise, trims hitting each other etc.
My noise is most definitely electronic in its source.
Mine sounds like some type of communication is being attempted, but not being completed.
What the communication is all about is still a mystery.
Since I've disconnected a bunch of electronic stuff this could be thwarting the communication.
But mine has absolutely nothing to do with a mechanical-based noise source.
Since I now know the general location of where the sound is coming from (behind the back seat)
I placed my phone recorder back there today and made a new, louder recording of the 'Geiger sound'.
I'm posting it below.
Hopefully the sound might trigger some ideas from you folks as to its source.
The duration, cluster of sound, time of sound might be helpful clues too.
Listen carefully at the following time markers:

The first one started as soon as I turned on the ignition.

I listened to the very clear recording and am baffled.
I'm bumping this thread to see if @NoiseFree has made any progress.

Yes there has been a development recently that I was just about to report on.
Up until last week I could count on hearing the Geiger sound pretty much each time I drove my car.
It seemed to be sounding more and more frequently up until last week.
Then for some unknown reason it stopped for an entire week!
Of course I have no idea why. This is a sound that's been going on for around a year now.
The only thing that has changed is the weather. It has gotten warmer.
But my driving routes have remained the same.
I'm baffled as to why it hasn't sounded for a week, but of course I'm not complaining.

I will continue to give you updates in the critical next few weeks.
I'm also due to make my one year service appointment shortly.
Time for another update.
Things looked really promising for a while.
It was around three weeks and counting that I hadn't heard the sound.
Then all of a sudden it came back.
May 10 while I was driving on the highway.
May 13 and May 20 as I was starting my car.
May 13 it lasted just a few seconds. May 20 it lasted for around 30 seconds.
On May 13 and 20 the sound started literally as I pressed the ignition!
It had done that many times in the past.

Was May a particularly cold Month? In an earlier post you suggested temperature might be a factor.
It really does sound like an electrical gremlin based on your descriptions. This is a perplexing problem.

But looking back, the sound has persisted over all the four seasons now.
I'll be taking my car in for a service next week. I don't expect the dealership to solve
the problem though, given their previous track record with my car.
Well yes, it has been much cooler than normal over here.

If it comes back again I'll think of a way to describe it. I never had it with my previous ES-350 (17 years of driving).
That's the best way to describe it.
It's time to start a new thread dedicated to this noise to see if anyone else has experienced it with their vehicle.
I have a 2024 ES-350 and currently this is the only remaining issue I am dealing with, with my car.
It's quite quiet but can be clearly heard.
I'm trying to get an understanding of when/why it happens, but so far I don't really have
any leads.
It can start to occur when I've just started my car or have been driving 5-10 minutes.
I don't see any pattern as to if I am near a car or not.
I hear the noise to the left and behind me. It must be coming from the speaker there.
Since I have disabled the front speakers and the front left side speaker I don't know if I
would hear it from them also if they were connected.
I am certain I can't be the only driver here who hears this noise.
It really never goes away, from day to day, week to week, month to month.
Any guesses/ideas what it could be?
What could I do to troubleshoot it?
My goal is to get my car totally noise free but I'm not quite there yet.
This is NOT a mechanical noise!
It is electronic-based, likely triggered by a sensor.

These cars are so quiet we hear everything. The other day I heard a sparrow fart as it flew over.
I chose my username 19 years ago to indicate what I am aiming for with my cars.
While my 2007 ES-350 never was noise free, it was very quiet overall.
I bought a Lexus because they are a luxury car known for their quiet ride.
Throughout the 17 years I owned my first Lexus I never had any noise issues
after I got my dealer to silence all the beeps that he could. He claimed he couldn't
silence the seat-belt warning beep and I believed him.
Fast forward to today.
Overall, my 2024 ES-350 is about the same as my 2007 in terms of interior noise
while driving. It's quite quiet and comfortable. That's why I bought it.
This Geiger noise though sticks out like a sore thumb when it goes into action.
I have already described it and given you folks a recording of it so you know what
it sounds like.
It shouldn't be there. I'd like to find out what is causing it and stop it from sounding.
