ECO mode…what is it?
Although the absolute dollar amounts differ by model year, the starting price ordering by model types remain the same going back as far as the 2022 model year which I can verify from my screen captures of the US Lexus web site's model type comparison table. (The 2022 model year had just the F Sport model type but with or without the cost of AVS including F Sport Dynamic Handing Package the Ultra Luxury had a higher starting price.)
As built window sticker price comparison of those model types are tricker since the Ultra Luxury model types come with standard features that if model type available are extra cost options for the F Sport model types. For both F Sport Design and F Sport Handling the extra cost options are Power rear sunshade, Power trunk with kick sensor, 10.2-in Head-Up Display, and Lexus Interface with 12.3-in touchscreen display. And for just the F Sport Handling there's one more available extra cost option of "Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking, Rear Pedestrian Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Panoramic View Monitor".
If you exclude the $835 F Sport Handling only extra cost option from the price comparisons, the ES 350 Ultra Luxury will still have a higher price than the optioned up ES 350 F Sport model types and the same for the ES 300h Ultra Luxury and the optioned up ES 300h F Sport model types - a couple of thousand difference for the F Sport Design model types and a couple of hundred difference for the F Sport Handling model types. It is only when you include the $835 F Sport Handling only extra cost option that the ES 350 F Sport Handling has a higher window sticker price than the ES 350 Ultra Luxury (by $695 using 2025 pricing) and similarly the ES 300h F Sport Handling price is higher than the ES 300h Ultra Luxury (by $530 using 2025 pricing).
I was kind of liking it at first since it seemed to shift less often.
But the first time I stomped hard on the gas I heard a loud CLANK and the car shuddered. First time that happened, not impressed
