Wheel Finisf Durability
I am in the market for a new ES300h. Drove one for the first time yesterday. Now in the process of deciding on options and trim levels.
The car will be driven on roads that have road salt in the winter. How durable are the wheel finishes? The wheels on every car I have driven on salted roads in winter get destroyed by the salt sooner or later.
I was thinking the 18 inch split five spoke alloy noise reduction wheels would be the worst choice as they are all chrome and would probably suffer the most from road salt.

Salt will destroy any metal. The smallest scratch on the clear coat with allow salt water to penetrate the paint and start corrosion.
