Yes. Disconnecting the seat belt is what starts the movement of the seat and steering wheel when the engine is off. I’ve found that if I wait until all movement is complete before I open my driver’s door the seat doesn’t move back to the position I’m talking about. If I open the door before the movement is finished it stops immediately and moves me forward into a position that neither my wife or I have programmed into the car.
Keep only one fob in the car with you and when the car is running set up your seat and steering wheel like you want it to drive the car, hit the set button by the seat settings control, and push the number for your fob until you hear a beep. It’s then programmed to that fob.
Ok what does that get me? Does the seat adjust when i walk up to the drivers side door?
Is this right for my car? When I try to bind the fob it never seems to work.
I’d love to be able to help you but that may be a dealer question. Can you check your owner’s manual to see if a 2021 has that feature? I don’t see why it wouldn’t.
