If you have 360 camera if you about to park into a difficult spot you can press the camera button next to the HUD button on top on the hidden storage space and on the screen (navigation) and press the auto button on the left lower corner .now you can have 360 cameras going forward as well back in reverse.! ( you can put in back to normal by pressing auto again. Plus you can click on the screen and tap the trunk and you can see behind you much closer if necessary)
also I find it better to select your car the darkest color on settings(I have my in red for my car color) so all the surrounding areas doesn’t clash with a light color car image!!
Soon after I bought my 2024 ES I spent a few minutes exploring the settings on the center screen. I found a way to make the screen show the two birds eye views whenever the car is in D or R and the speed is very slow. The picture even shows where the four tires are, making it easy to stop when I have backed to the edge of my driveway and avoid running over the grass. Now the pictures come on whenever I am parking or even if I am just stopped at an intersection or turning a corner. No button push required. I find this feature to be very useful.
I expect every driver of this model knows that it is impossible to judge where the front grille is just by looking out the windshield over the sloping hood. Back when cars had bumpers, you could buy tall wires that clamped to the left and right ends of your front bumper so you could tell when you were close to a wall or another car. And curb feelers were common add-ons. I prefer my Lexus camera pictures.
I found this out a few days ago after two years of ownership!! (Super slow)
I was watching YouTube and there was a female that worked at Lexus and watch the whole video like about 1:45 mins (Tuesday tech tip)
I don’t drive this car that much also I have to learn even more extra thing on my 24 S -class !
I only read all the manuals when I’m in the bathroom when im doing nothing I just go Thur the forums
to be honest the UL es300h is better over road bumps than the s class with the air suspension!!
Next up is the LC500 convertible bespoke!
just got to wait until I get an update on that car!!
also I’m interested in a SC430 late model but I can’t seem to find the PB with the red interior so hard to get that!!!(always in dark colors ) and I don’t like wrap cause I don’t want my car under the knife!!
Yes, but I think it's poorly written and poorly organized. Very frustrating. Half the time I search though the wrong manual only to discover that the topic is in the other one.
Sure do. How else can you get any idea of what all features a car might have and get a clue as to how to operate them?
Given the propensity of car designers now-a-days to use continually changing, unconventional implementations of controls for common features, with a never operated before vehicle you're lucky to figure out how to start the beast without consulting the owner's manual let alone figure out operating all the other doodads.
