Default Wireless Android Auto Problem

I just recently started driving the 2024 ES 350. Off the lot my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20FE) connected to android auto wirelessly no problem and about 3 drives later my phone will no longer wirelessly connect after multiple attempts to forget/disconnect my phone from the car.

Has anyone else had problems with their android auto working? I would like to take advantage of the wireless charging pad and not have to plug my phone in and out every time I get in the car.

Clear the cache of the app on your phone and see if that helps. Also make sure the app is up to date.

I have tried both and it still doesn't work.

In the settings on phone make sure under android auto that wireless is checked if your version has that if not already done so. The newer versions have 3 options for to Start Auto Automatically and also start while locked switch. Could have been unswitched if update done. My S21 had the wireless switch and S24 the latter switches.

I have this issue with my Google Pixel 6. Sometimes it automatically connects right away other times it can take several attempts to connect manually. I'm convinced it's a bluetooth issue (wireless android auto uses bluetooth).

It's incredibly frustrating. I have no issue when connecting via bluetooth to my 2017 Ford Expedition.
