The Illuminated Trunk Sill instructions (docx download) includes instructions (and illustrations) for removal and installation of the left side trunk liner.
(The power wiring for the illuminated trunk sill is routed behind the left side trunk liner which is why the liner removal and installation procedures are included.)

That was interesting to read how it’s done. The dealer installed both the trunk and door sill illumination on my ’22 ES350 UL when I got it...it’s a bit more of a procedure than I expected, but they’re both a great addition.
