Default New York Auto Show

Did anyone hear if the Gen 8 ES was on display today at the New York Auto Show?

Lexus is listed as an Exhibitor.

Slowly went through a two hour amateur cell phone video of the show’s displays. Lexus had a nice display of mostly SUV’s. Saw one or two 350 ES on the floor. They appeared to be ordinary 2024 models. Double check me. It was a hasty video.

As does my 2021. It still looks and drives perfect, too. Only relevance to me is that if a new model comes out this fall, I want to grab a 2024 while I still can. I’m actually hoping the new model is deferred to 2026 so I’ll have one more year with my 2021, which actually can’t be told from a 2024.
Also, just curious, too…

Looking more and more likely not much will change for the MY25. Same old fart 6cyl ES.

And so does my 2019. We got a bargain back then and the car is virtually identical to the 2024...

The benefit of buying early gen model year.

I agree the 8ES look fresh and modern, but it needs some newer tech.

Agreed!
Except maybe the potential for some bugs to be worked out, like our jerky transmissions. I try not to let it bother me and have largely gotten used to it, but when I drive my wife's 2019 RX which exhibits NONE of that jerking, it's harder to ignore when I get back in my car. And as far as I can tell, the '23-'24 owners don't experience our issue either.

Really just an annoyance, and I'm still glad to have my 2019 for the reasons you stated.
