Triple Beam and ML stereo uncommon?
I'm just really starting to get serious about finding an ES350 and very few seem to have the Triple Beam headlights or ML stereo. Are those options fairly uncommon?
Headlight type is seldom listed so the only clue you have is any posted photos of the front end exterior and hope the photos are of the actual vehicle the listing is for. If you see three LED fixtures in the headlight assembly, the vehicle has triple beam headlights.
As for stereo type... Seems like every ES is listed with "Premium Audio" and it is hit or miss whether the listed number of speakers (if there's any listed) match up with posted interior photos. On the hope posted photos are of the actual vehicle for sale, look in the upper forward corner of either the front driver's or passenger's inside front door panels. If you see a speaker grill there, it has a Mark Levinson stereo system.
Depending upon the range of model years you're searching for, a couple of things that may help narrow down the search for triple beam headlight and Mark Levinson stereo system equipped ESs: 1) filter for Luxury or Ultra Luxury model types (rare to find base and base with Premium package ESs with those options) and 2) raise the minimum price to a point where ESs' not equipped with those expensive options gets filter out.
Lexus used to have a good publicly accessible VIN lookup/decoder tool that would list the factory and port installed features and accessories. Now, you either have to log in to your My Lexus account and add the VIN to your account or do the same through the Lexus app to see that information. I don't know tolerant Lexus would be to multiple VIN adds and deletes as you check out ES for sale prospects so you probably shouldn't use that means of checking until you've narrowed down your list of potential buy prospects.
The trips looks nice,,they dance when you start the car which looks cool. Our other Lexus has neither and they're not missed at all.
Honestly, that kind of goes with me on the F Sport in general. I love the looks of the grill, spoiler, wheels, and seats. However, that adaptive suspension scares me away to a point where I will probably need to stay away from them. I would hate to have purchased an LS430 UL that come with air suspension and then have it go out. I've seen where those air shocks are like $1,400 each not including installation. I'm scared the adaptive suspension on the F Sport could be similar. I'm not 100% discounting an F Sport just yet but would definitely be more interested in one if I can find one without the adaptive handling. Another one of those things that you can't really get the info by just looking at the online posting.

Agree with @ESh above ^^^^
Also OP, I dunno if the regular beam has it, but the triple will side-illuminate when wheel turning; which I have learn to appreciate and find very useful on dark streets/roads.
If you do like the F-Sport (appearance without suspension) you can buy the badges and pedals very cheap and install them easily; only stop pedal is a PITA.
I already had the spoiler, so the badges & pedals made my car look more sporty and probably added 0.025HP.

Nice to know! At first I though "what a gimmick" but now I find them very useful. One time visiting family someone dropped their keys near the front left of my car at a very dark place/grass. Just turned the wheels and voila.... Like having a flashlight to the left....

An Ultra Luxury with only the 12.3 inch touch screen option... I would have thought such a beast would only exist as special order for a customer but there's one found in the wilds of a Lexus dealer's new cars for sale lot.
I'm betting the standard lights would be plenty good for my wife and I, however, I really do like the LED turn signals on the triple beam. Maybe not enough to deal with them though but I don't know, they are slick headlights. I will say one negative about the dancing/turning headlights is long term ownership. I've had an LS430 for almost 10 years now as a daily driver and it has the auto leveling/auto turn/dancing headlights as well. About 3 years ago I had the auto-leveling motor go out on one of my headlights and the light stuck in lowest facing position which caused it to not illuminate the road nearly as well. Luckily, it wasn't a super expensive part and I was able to DIY replacement but it was a little more than just a simple DIY. I've also seen plenty of posts for the LS where the auto leveling sensor goes out over time and can be a PITA to replace and then recalibrate it. Luckily that hasn't happened to my LS just yet. However, my headlights do bounce around a bit just sitting in park. You can see it when facing a wall or garage door, they just basically shake up and down a little constantly. Luckily, once I put it in drive, it all straightens out and works as expected when driving. All that to say, down the road that is just another thing that can go wrong. I'm planning on keeping the ES long term, like 10 -15 years, which is why I want to make sure I know what to get so that I won't regret missing out on a feature or regret that I did get a feature.
