Post Window Rain and Wind deflectors

Hi all. A few questions.
1) Are all of the 7th gen ES body frames the same?
2) Will deflectors that say "will fit" 2021 ES models work?
3) If you have mounted deflectors on the 7th gen ES. Can you post a link where to buy that one?
4) There looks to be 2 different types. In channel or outside mount. Is one better than the other? I've seen where some complained they came off the 1st time through the car wash.
Thanks for the help!

If you want genuine Lexus accessories side window deflectors, Lexus Boutique's GENUINE LEXUS JAPAN 2019-2024 ES SMOKE SIDE WINDOW VISOR SET is on sale for a mere $499.00. If you're up to a road trip to Canada, you can get them for about CA$475 including dealer installation (price may vary by dealership and Province).

It's always best to contact the seller via email and ask about fitment. This way you have a record of their answer in case it doesn't fit.

"Ya but: I don't speak Chinese."

I believe cheap is one of the universal languages.

That's funny. From my experience, channel mounted look and perform the best. As you mentioned, exterior mounts can get ripped off easily in a car wash or vandalism. But, not all window tracks will accommodate channel mounts. A lot of stuff to jam into a window track that can damage those seals and create issues if you ever want to remove the product and go without at a later date. I had used Weathertech brand as they are custom fitted and the channel part is machined to be narrow and tapered. But that wasn't on a Lexus. Happy shopping.

I'm not a fan of this product category generally. The deflectors hurt aerodynamics, create wind noise and lower gas mileage. There's a reason no carmaker offers them as standard or even factory optional equipment. Just one person's opinion.

You should have read the whole story. Obviously the Toyota / Lexus OEM's are made in Japan. I was talking about the 3rd party ones on Amazon. Most have a long lead time and are shipped from China. Thus asking the manufacture is not so simple or their answer is correct. It's like "I have a bridge to sell you."
