2022 Lexus es300h 5k
Drove today and first the warning low battery key on my smartkey.
drove after food shopping
All the signs it’s lit up like a Christmas tree.
you name it it’s on.
each one tellls me to stop and read the manual.
on the cluster left and right is out only the yellow warning are on .
let the car rest for about 2 hours and same thing even the temp is all the way up like before on a very cold start I even use my regular keys and same thing also no signal lights and little button lights and the clock.

I move the car once a week for parking for about month and a half (broken arms)z

today weather was raining and it’s about 40 degrees out .


any input will be appreciated!!

dealers are all closed for the holidays

car drive smooth as always.

hope it’s nothing easy let a wet sensor or maybe a bad battery.!!

 

Did this happen after you just filled up?

 

I will check my gas cap let see what happens !!!
Do I still need to drive it to let the computer reset it..!!

 

Yes, for like 100-200 more miles

 

ok went to rest the car today now steering wheel locked and change gears doesn’t do nothing..


low and behold I was like atleast let me disconnect the battery’s waited 5 minutes..!!

Bingo!!!
everything went back to normal
went around three times
around the neighborhood and all the sensors and access and parking options reset itself super happy thank you.!!

will go to the shop for a test just for the hell of it!!

 

Sounds like maybe a bad 12v battery. An auto parts store will test it for free and will be open on weekends.
