Default ML Navigation issue

So I am driving along, and I catch out of the corner of my eye a message on the display. It was something like:

Footprint map view unavailable. Error accessing date. Defaulting to less detailed maps.

Since then, I have lost all the map details like buildings along the roads (such as houses). Anybody else ever had that issue?

I have an appointment at the dealer soon for my 10,000 mile service, so I will address it then.

Is it the Lexus navigation map and you have 2022 or older ES right? I think it just simply means you zoomed in too much (your zoom level is set too high) and that area you were traveling through was a rural area or it doesn't have much details/data like other areas. I saw this message from time to time, even with default zoom...

Yep! 2022. Thanks for your reply, but it has nothing to do with a rural area. It happened on the same road that I use to drive to and from work every day, and never had an issue.

All of the detail such as buildings have disappeared and haven't come back.
