Default Lexus Touchup Paint

What a horror story. Took her in fir new tires. Brand new tech right out of school lifted if by the rocker panels and dented them. Complained and shop owner pulled it into another bay to inspect. He tried to make a hard left and ran right into a door. Skinned paint off my bumper. Yeah, I know. Two years old with 10k miles. My first blemish. So, I can not find OEM paint…moonbeam beige metallic, 4X8. What is the best aftermarket paint in terms of color match? Thanks.

Forget the touch up paint for now. They owe you some money. So tech kid dents the rocker panel, then manager damages further making a left into a door?

My man, are you seriously going to walk away from this and assume the responsibility of repair yourself?

Twenty years ago I would have owned that shop. I do not have enough time left to fight that battle. Do you have a recommendation on touch up paint?

Best quality touch up paint is from Lexus. People will recommend places like Dr. Color Chip I've tried their stuff among others it is not nearly as good as Lexus paint.

Ask the dealer directly, I can't imagine them not being able to get touchup paint for a color that is still in production today...

Lexus touchup paint, if not you better go to a good body shop and that tab better be put under the shop that screwed it up in the first place.

That's why I don't bring my Lexus to a non Lexus dealership, unless it is a beater, yeah you save $25 on an oil change, $50 on a fluid change and $100 on a brake job, but this is one of many many headache that you may get. Also my Carfax and Lexus service history will show all of those services performed from Lexus, it will retain and have better re-sale value (+ $1000-$3000), be smart people, at the end you still save more money and have a better maintained car, save time, effort and hassle, come on.

My local Lexus dealer put two major scratches ( would catch your fingernail) on hood from windshield to radiator on brand new RX300 with less than 2000 miles. They would not accept responsibility. They said I could not prove they did it but they offered to fix it. I walked back and they had a gorilla burning off the clear coat with a rotary buffer. I yelled to make them stop immediately. Yeah, don’t get me started on Lexus dealerships. That is just one of many stories from two different dealerships.

Damn if you paid $60 your dealer really went to town on you. They both retail for $11.99. Anything over that is pure dealer profit. If you use the parts.lexus.com website you can even source it under retail. Occasionally you may find that a color requires two stages of paint and one of clear, but even then, thats a grand total of $35.97.

What a rip off LOL, yes do what TipsyTonio did, go to Lexus online part website to check he price, select 85255 as your zipcode to find and order from belllexusnorthscottsdale free shipping $100+. I normally go directly to their online store: https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com/

For order less than $100, or if you prefer Ebay, I bought those 2 Lexus OEM bottles (base + clear) on eBuy for ~$20 from belllexusnorthscottsdale few years ago
