NEW LEXUS ES350 OWNER - Few Questions
Hello Everyone, I just purchased a 2014 Lexus ES350 Base Model CPO. This is my first Lexus. I have looked at a few threads, but haven't found my answers per say. I jsut tinted her yesterday, and I would like to find 18" OEM wheels for it.
1) Can I upgrade to the HID headlights or BI-Xenon easily? I saw conflicting info googling it. The "LED" is subpar for headlights. My previous vehicle was BI-XENON
2) Do you know the matching color of Fog Lights, if I can upgrade above?
3) Below my passenger seat, it appears a trim panel is missing. I see an open spot that has the VIN # on the painted frame. Is that normal?
4) If I buy the lighted trunk skid plate, where do you I wire it into?
5) Does anybody want to trade their 18" wheels for my 17's? Everyone says the 17's ride way better, but I want the looks.

For the fog light use LED bulbs. but LED conversion on the fog lights is for cosmetics and color matching and don't expect functional lights.
for the low beam and fog lights the matching color is anywhere between 4300K and 5000K.
It is not normal for the VIN number under passenger seat to be exposed. You are missing the cover plate.

The fog lights match my headlights. They could be LED bulbs, but have the halogen color to them. I wanted the HID looking fog lights. When i take my care in for service, I will see what the cost of the plate is.

Maybe the base model '14 came with halogens. Does the light pattern look rectangular, or circular? The rectangular fogs are LED and do not have a halogen look to them.

I thought the VIN and frame number are the same thing

Sure you can upgrade to HID. Conversion kits available everywhere, amazon, ebay.

The cover plate is not present. At least, I know what to ask for now. ODD though
