@ OP.
Try to deal and see if you can have it for $41K or less OTD
Not in Texas. Purchased in California..
2017 ES350 bought 5 weeks ago in California with $7K+ off MSRP $47,225.

Note that right now is likely not the best time to be buying an ES or other Lexus model. Until about 2 weeks ago, Lexus had rebates on virtually all of their models. I believe that the rebate on the ES was either $1500 or $2000. Those rebates ended on April 4, and, right now, there are no rebates on the ES or most other Lexus models. Generally speaking, the early spring is a time when Lexus doesn't need to use rebates to sell cars because, with many parts of the country just coming out of the winter, there is delayed demand with people who were waiting for the end of winter to buy new cars.
Expect that, as we move into the late spring and summer, rebates will be returning, and they likely will be bigger than the rebates that just ended. Further, as we move through the summer and as dealers start to try to reduce their inventories of 2017 vehicles, levels of discounting beyond those of the rebates should also increase.
So, if you can wait just a while, you will be likely to save a reasonable amount on an ES purchase. Right now, you aren't likely to get the same deals that you could have gotten a month ago or the same deals that you will likely to be able to get in another month or two.

For the Jan-Mar period ES sales are -27% (-20% for Feb) so you may have dealers motivated to move some ES models. If incentives are offered it might be a good time to buy.

Best to get quotes from multiple dealers on a identical car and see who comes in lowest. Then go from there. You should be able to get at least 12-15% off MSRP since these cars sit for months.

This thread is now almost 2 1/2 years old. I'm guessing that the OP of the thread moved on from looking for advice on buying a brand new 2017 ES long ago, and I can't imagine that any advice given now would be relevant to anything.
