Question 2014 es 350 headlight replacement

The low beam light bulb holder is different than the high beam holder and has a mechanism attached above it. It appears not to be a simple twist and remove. Need help on how to remove and replace the low beam headlight bulb..

You are wanting to replace the bulb? I assume you have HIDs, that is held in by a metal retainer/clip that you bend to release from the plastic hooks.

Yes, I want to replace the low beam bulb and I assumed it is halogen like the high beam that I replaced but not sure what is in there. It is not a simple twist and remove like the high beam was. Seems to be a mechanism attached to the bulb holder for low beam and I need to know more about it before I go in there. Maybe it is HID? Though halogen was standard, Tks

The halogen will twist out AFAIK. Post a picture if you can, if you have HIDs they are held in by a metal wire/clip.

Question low beam bulb replacement

Lexus 2014 es350 low beam bulb
I need to know how to replace the low beam headlight on the right. The high beam is on the left and replacing it is straight forward. The low beam has this mechanism associated with it and I do not know how to replace the low beam with it there. How to replace the low beam bulb?

Looks like you have auto-level headlights. To the right (as shown in your picture) there is a black plastic “can” with a white cover on it? The low beam HID bulb is hidden inside that housing. You have to give that white cover a twist to remove it and access the bulb. Look at post #15 in this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...-question.html.

Is the white can cover with the wires protruding as shown in picture?

AFAIK, the wires enter that "can" (housing?) from the side closest to the motor/adjuster assembly...that's the bit between the two headlights on the back side. You can just see it as a yellow spot in the first photo. I have not opened up the housing myself as the lights work fine but I have partially twisted the white cover to satisfy myself that's how to get at the bulb. The adjusting motor assembly is as shown in the photo #4 in the post referenced above. This video on youtube may help:

When the guy disconnected the cable from the white cover...that is for a 2002. It is now changed and I believe that the cable goes through the side of the black housing instead. Look at the photo I mentioned: there is no connector on the white cover.
