I have a 2013 ES350, I am looking for my battery options and found the normal D26 will not work. Is Costco an option?

Numerous members have replaced their batteries at Costco. Interstate battery around $80.00... I used them for my 2013 ES 350, my 1998 Corvette and wife's 2014 Honda...

I also have a 2013 ES 350 and this past January needed to put a new battery in my car... I went with an Interstate MTP 24F... Way more cranking power than the oem battery. I have this same battery in my 4 runner.. been in there for 4 years and no issues what so ever.

Part Number MTP-24F
Group Size 24F
Cold Cranking Amps 800
Cranking Amps 1000
Reserve Capacity: 125 Mins.
Length 11 0/0 inches
Width 6 14/16 inches
Height 8 12/16 inches
Weight 44.4 lbs

Hope this helps you out.

Toyota battery?
Wouldn’t Toyota dealers also have a similar size battery at a slightly reduced price?

That is to mean slightly reduced price from the Lexus battery.

Got it. Less than a Lexus dealer but more than Costco... Some time ago a member posted that the Lexus service writer told them that a non Lexus battery would only last 6 months.
A bunch of pure BS. The Lexus battery was somewhere around $200.00... Costco Interstate is around $80.00. Easy to find out how much a Toyota battery would be. Give 'em a call.

bc... that was me. I couldn't believe it when he told me that..pure BS... and you're right, If memory serves me correctly, he did tell me a battery from the dealership was around 2 bills. When I purchased my Interstate mtp-24F, i went to the actual interstate battery distributor here in town, and I believe it was around 120 bucks otd.

When our '10 needed a battery I just called AAA. They do it in your driveway. Cost ~$145

The cost of that "convenience" is actually even higher than it appears at first. Theoretically, you are paying for the convenience with your annual membership fee, but when you consider the jacked up price of the battery plus the cost of the annual membership, there is a lot of profit built into the "convenience" of having someone from AAA come to your driveway to install a new battery in your car.

I live in Canada and CAA is the equivalent. Out of interest I went to their website where you can get the price. They have 2 prices, one for members, and one for non members. Here they are (and remember this is in Canadian $$
  •
    • Non-member Price $210 .99 plus tax:
  •
    • Member Price: 185.99 plus tax
  •
    • 185.99 + Tax

$ US equivalent would be about $160 and $142 respectively.

One thing I will say about Lexus is they freak out when the battery fails. Had this happen on my ES350 and RX 350. Same symptoms, in both cases at about 50 months.
Regarding batteries, I have been using Autozone products, always their higher brand. Great luck, and their warranty is simple, no forms, no cards, no receipt saving, just your name and they look it up from any store.
