Default Sunshade.

I have a reflective sunshade that I've been using for a few years.

However, it's starting to get some holes in it.

I might get a similar one again.

But what are also some other suggestions? I want something plain looking, with as simple of a design as possible.

And I don't want a stiff one.

Any particular reason you wouldn't want a stiff sunshade? I use the Covercraft one (just do a google search and you'll find it). I like it because these are custom-made to fit windshields of particular cars. It looks nice and clean when looking at it from the outside. Just wanted to throw that option out there.

I have always used the Covercraft UVS100 shade on my and my wife's car. I remember it cost ~$55-60 each but they are worth it.

Do you like the quality? Does it fall apart (rips, etc.) after a few years?

What's the difference between the Flex Shade at $44, and the UVS100 Custom Sunscreen at $61?

Shipping is $14.71 if I get the Flex Shade, and $14.10 if I get the UVS100 Custom.

So about $62.78, or $80.74, after shipping and tax, depending on which one I get.

What color would look good on an obsidian car? The Flex Shade only has metallic.

Heat Shield is $39.99 + $6.99 shipping, so $51.17 after shipping and tax.

This is what I use for my 17 ES350, I always get the silver one. $60 shipped. I am in N. Cal, my wife's RX350 shade has been in service for 4+ years and it is still holding up well.

Thanks. It's cheaper on eBay. Free shipping and no tax.

Any idea what the difference is between the Flex Shade, and the UVS100 Custom Sunscreen?

The Flex Shade is soft, I have never used it before. The UVS100 is stiff and bulky, but I can tell you even at 95F heat, the inside/felt-like part of UVS only gets warm, not hot like the exterior/reflective side. Also even during heat wave, the UVS does NOT turn soft. I know since I park my car outside.

Can you describe the materials more, or what you like about it? How it compares to others you've used?

Right now, I'm looking at:

Heatshield 1828-G, $51.17 after shipping and tax.

Covercraft, UV11286SV, $59.95 after shipping (no tax on eBay).

Here's a video for HeatShield.

Here's a video for Covercraft UVS100.

Does it fold easily along the creases, even after years of use?
