Hello Gents... some may already know this but for those that do not, Mobil 1 is currently in the midst of a rebate promotion for Mobil 1 Synthetic... $12 rebate for the purchase of 5 qts of Mobil 1 Synthetic.. or you can get $17 back if you also purchase a Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter. There's still plenty of time, promotion runs thru the end of October. I picked up a 5 gal. Jug of Mobil 1 extended performance 15,000 mile oil at the local wal mart last night for 25.47. That's a heck of a savings over buying it in the single quart bottles... just checked the wal mart web site and they're selling the single quarter 0W-20 for $9.16 a qt which is over 45 bucks if you bought five of them. Good info Poppa. Thanks... $25.47 for 5 quarts = $5.09 a quart - rebate of $12.00 = $2.69 a quart for top shelf synthetic.

Mobil 1 is on sale at Costco right now, through 10/28.

Normally $38 for 6 quarts in 1 QT bottles of full synthetic 0w20, it's on sale for $28.

You're right, it's cheaper at Walmart in the 5 QT bottle over the 1 QT bottles at Costco.
