Can the '18 300h trunk hold 4 carry on bags?
#2
lets get more specific. I have a carryon bag with the following dimensions 22inX 11in x 14 in. I tried it in my trunk, placed on its side, and I can tell you that the trunk will easily accommodate 4 of them. It can even accommodate bigger carryon bags. So the trunk is decent in size. Mine is 2013 ES300h. but The trunk size should be same

Thank you!
I’d consider yours to be normal carry on size. Ours are slightly smaller since we bought them for small European airlines with draconian baggage rules.

If they are even smaller than the size above then they will fit, no worries.

Allow me to answer with a personal example. I drive a 2015 ES Hybrid, as do a number of airport limousine companies here.
A year or so ago, the 3 of us went on vacation, packing 2 large (but not overly large) pieces of luggage and a carry-on (backpack size) for each of us. I booked a limo to the airport, asking for a minivan to ensure that I would not be overloading an ESh should the limo company decide to send that.
Upon our return, we lined up for a limo (I did not book one for the return) and ended up in an ESh. Our luggage fit, despite my worries.
I believe you will have no problem with 4 (smaller) carry-on bags in the trunk of the ESh.

As someone with 2 toddlers - therefore, with tons of junk, bulky swings, carriers, playpens, junk cargo, etc etc.......the ES trunk can fit A LOT of stuff! I am very surprised at what all stuff I've gotten in there. It's no minivan of course, but a very good sedan to fit cargo into.

Hot off the presses! The 2019 ES300h has the very same size trunk as the 2019 ES350,
the battery has been moved under the back seat as it is in the RX450h's.

When my twins turned 5 we took them on the obligatory trip to Disneyworld - 10 hours away. We packed the Ody the night before and set the alarm to leave at 5am. We woke up on time and in a fit of hubris patted ourselves on the back for leaving on time. We usually aim for 8, plan on 9, settle for 10. Hubris sucks - Ody wouldn't start. We transferred a van's worth of stuff into the Prius, taking up *every* inch of space. I actually took pictures!

We rented a first generation Prius. The rental counterperson tried to dissuade us, hey it is
not unlimited mileage like the others, it is not very big (sic), terrible green color...sure you
don't want the T-Bird? It had nearly 30k mile (high for a rental), drove it as if stolen and
it was exemplary! Quiet, fast enough once you learned how to maximize its power(s).
So impressed with the technology I left my Chevrolet Dealership of 26 years and joined
a Lexus store 10 years ago!
