Default Default screen

Hi,
I recently purchased a 2013 ES350 and am loving it. I'm trying to go through all the various set up configurations and I think I'm close to what I want. But one thing that I can't figure out is how to set the Nav screen to default to something other than the navigation map. If I hit the radio button I would like it to stay on that screen, unless I hit the map button. But as it is, after a little time, the map gets re-displayed. Is there a setting I'm missing to, for example, set the radio as the default screen?

Try this.
Press Menu button.
Then select setup/general/scroll down to "Auto Screen Change" and turn it off.
When you turn the car off on radio display, it should start up on radio display.

w8one is correct. While I like the remote controller for Nav stuff you may find it cumbersome to use
Menu/Remote Select/Remote Press to choose the next screen. Try using hard keys for the screens:

"Map" of course for map, "Radio" for every source outside the car ie., AM/FM/Sat, "Media" for every
source inside the car ie., CD/iTunes/USB jack, Left Steering wheel spoke "Off Hook" for phone screen.
Other buttons that sub for mouse moves are Left Steering wheel spoke "Mode" which if pressed long is mute/pause.
Left Steering wheel spoke "Up/Down Arrow" can be radio presets without opening Radio screen or track change.

That was it! The "Auto Screen Change" set to off worked. The other steering wheel suggestions were great too!

I can see this forum will be a wealth of good information.
