I just saw that Toyota has announced a new infotainment system for Camry based on Linux, which is called Automotive Grade Linux (AGL). Toyota has been working on this with various other car manufacturers. I think that 2018 is probably too soon to see this in Lexus cars, but I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing this in 2019.

Since the new Linux-based infotainment system will show up on the NEW, re-engineered 2018 model Camry, I would think that any vehicles currently in the lineup that are new (re-engineered) or refreshed for 2019 model year and later will receive this new infotainment system. So I believe that it will come in the new model 2019 Avalon and ES, the NX (since it is being refreshed now with no announcement of a new infotainment system), IS, GS and RC as they are re-engineered, and RX, LS, LC as they are refreshed.

Looks really busy, does it not? Should a display not be simple to avoid distracting the driver?
