The insert on the rear passenger door by the window control pulled up' I have it taped down for right now. Any idea how to either fix or replace that part? Photo attached. Thanks in advance.

There are some plastic tabs, on the underside that will hold the trim in place. If they are broken or bent, there is nothing to hold it down.

Thanks! I peeled off the plastic wood grain and there are no tabs. Looked like it was glued on at factory

Is it the actual wood trim itself thats coming up? Or the whole entire control?
If it's the wood trim itself thats coming up... I'd just probably glue it with something pretty strong lol. Did this model year come with trimmed window controls? I don't remember if it did or not and maybe it's just a wrap or installed aftermarket.

You can likely buy a replacement or go to a junkyard and find one of the controls to take off of another ES though.

Went to dealership and he said exactly same thing, thanks! He said since wood trim is still in great shape just use 3m spray adhesive and it will work almost as good as new.,

Sounds like a plan! I would probably remove the entire window switch unit itself before using spray adhesive if you haven't already planned on it, just will help any potential messes, that stuff is hard to get off once its on there. It should just be a couple clips.

I would maybe use some adhesion promoter too, or some IPA, but I'm not sure how fragile the plastic would be to those.

I would go junkyard, find one in better condition. That one looks ugly.

Ebay might be another option if you dont want to visit a salvage yard.
