Hi everyone, I have to replace the bottom door trim on the drivers side front door of my 2022 Lexus RX350. I have ordered the part but am unsure how to remove and replace the trim. Could any of you good souls help me out????
Any luck on this? I've got the same situation on a 2017
Did you have any luck on this? I've got the same situation on a 2017. Was it fairly straight forward?

2017 RX350 front passenger bottom door trim replacement
Howdy y'all, anyone have any experience replacing this bottom door trim piece? Lexus part # 75071-0E100 . Just bought a 2017 AWD that a sweet grandma had been puttering around in, only 48K miles, loving it so far. Passenger must have opened the door into something or kicked this bottom piece, she had no idea what happened. Just don't want to start tearing things apart if anyone has any tips or tricks they'd be willing to share.
@lowmanontotem did you have any luck replacing that bottom moulding? I'm in the same situation now and wondering if I can do that myself.
Unfortunately not, I gave up and just live with a slight gap that nobody but myself notices.. at least that's what I tell myself to sleep better at night. Good luck!

My 2022 RX 350 (silver too) has the exact same damage, same location. The black plastic trim and white mounting nylon clips on your car are most likely undamaged and does NOT need replacing. If you pull down a couple inches the front end of the black trim to partially unsnap it from the door, you'll see about a 6 to 10 inch section of the metal door edge crushed upwards (readily visible in one of your photos). This different shape of the bottom door edge caused the trim to separate from the door. Some of the nylon clips can no longer fully engage their respective door bottom edge holes preventing simple reattachment of the black plastic trim.
A recent tire rotation at my local Firestone Tire shop caused the damage to my RX 350. Specifically, when the car was raised from the floor on their lift, the right front (RF) fork of the lift put excessive pressure against the bottom edge of the RF door thereby causing about 0.5" crush. **Do you remember a recent visit to a car shop that involved raising your car using a lift?**
The "right" way to remedy the damage is to have the car shop fix it at their time and expense, or better, they reimburse a body shop to fix it. This assumes they agree with the very realistic cause of damage. There are three DIY solutions. Pull the dent back out so the clips can re-engage the holes (1). Just leave the crush deformity to the metal bottom door edge and glue the trim down (2); or drill a couple holes through the trim and metal door bottom and use self threading sheet metal stainless screws to hold the trim firmly against the door bottom edge (3). Painting the silver SS screw heads black will conceal them from casual view. Bottom door edge pushed upward by car repair shop car lift.
