My 2013 Lexus ES300h after 12 years and over 100k miles has perfect reliability with absolutely no issues. Not even a light bulb. Is this also your experience?
I have owned several vehicles but this is the first time I never experience any repair at all with a car. I am surprised positively that there are no leaks, no noises, no oil burning, no check engine lights and everything works like when it was brand new.
I'll be coating the undercarriage of my newly acquired 2014 with Surface Shield before the winter hits here in Vermont. It's never seen a winter and is pristine so I want to keep it as clean as possible.
I have a 2013 ES300h with 147k miles and just the items below
1) Wear and maintenance items including 12V battery, brake fluid, spark plugs, replacement coolant for radiator and inverter, tire pressure sensors, brakes still original and probably can go at least another year
2) Shocks and struts have been the only major item for me

I have had no problems with my 2013 ES300h. I just reached 90k miles. I need to take it in for an oil change. Should I have other fluids replaced at this point?
The most reliable car imaginable at 197,000 miles of Metro New York City road salt & potholes. I haven't replaced a single major part, still on original suspension with a plush ride. Simply routine maintenance with OEM parts & serviced at an independent shop with a former 10 year former Toyota Master Technician. Michelin tires, brakes & rotors replaced together (never had wheel shake), Panasonic 12v battery, fluids & window wipers. I can't even remember changing a headlight or a taillight.
Someone mentioned AC mold smell, I had that because I used the in cabin circulation and didn't turn the AC off when parked. Read somewhere that the system needs to let outside air in to allow the condenser to dry, apparently the system doesn't drain well. Now I shut the AC off about 2 miles before I'm home and no more foul smell.
I can't recommend this model enough if you don't want to make your rich.
The ES300H is pretty solid, my previous ones only did the front and rear struts and front and rear wheel bearings at about 230k and I rode them until 260k at an accident. YMMV if you drive more highway than city suspension might last 350-400k
193k miles on my 2013 ES300h. Just picked it up couple weeks back. I hear some faint clunking in front left when braking and going slow, so I'll have that checked eventually. Was a salt car so I would expect some rust underneath. I plan to keep it until the wheels fall off.
