Question 2007 ES350 - Seat Swap

Good day All!

Hoping to find some answers from you all about swapping seats in my 07 ES 350. I bought this car used recently and doing some minor repairs myself to keep as a daily driver. I'm replacing the torn dash with a Coverlay Mfg dash cover (seems like a simple job)
The front seats are torn up. I'm thinking of heading to the junkyard and getting used seats.
Currently the car has power Non-heated leather seats. My question is can i replace these with the Heated/ cooled seats? I know I would have to replace the center console (the one with the seat temp controls). I'll pick that up from the yard as well. Beyond nuts and bolts, what am I looking at wiring-wise? Is there a harness already in place under the console for heat controls, plug and play?

Appreciate any help! Thanks
Zami

I don’t think there a wiring harness ready to plug and play.
Maybe it is a better idea to get the OEM-like covers from Ebay and install them.

I agree. The car probably does not have the wiring harness to support adding heated seats. Each harness is made
specific for that trim level.
See this recent thread on seat covers. They will be your best option.

I have heard of aftermarket seat heaters but do not know if they actually work or the difficulty doing the installation.

I doubt they are plug and play as even if you have the wiring in place you will probably be missing the relays and associated fuses. But if you are good with wiring or are willing to throw enough money at it it’s possible. Try to get the car side of the harness at least a foot of it from the junk yard car and any auto electrician can wire it for you. It will probably be to much money/trouble to try and wire them to the factory controls so I would just have them install the generic eBay on/off lo/high heated seats switches that you can just drill a hole and install right on the side of the seat by the control buttons.
