Default Car Seats/ Covers

Car seats of my Lexus ES 350 2010 are worn out and some areas are torn.

Should I put some covers on these or change seats?
For covers, what are some good brands and material for hot weather.

My 2 cents , buy yourself some high quality faux leather seats covers and call it a day. My black leather seats covers dont even get hot in 100°+ weather in texas. I forget what brand these are , but ive had a good eperience with the brand Rixxu, they are high quality and come with many clips.

Anyone else run something similar for their dog? I'd put it in the backseat, but she is forced to ride in my truck because I don't want the hair and potential damage.

You can get the leather seat covers from Ebay for cheap. That’s what I did.

There are pet rear seat covers that you can get for your dog. Some even cover the floor and connect to the front seat headrests to give them more of a surface. Try

or

oh I actually replaced the seat leather with real leather. But there’s def some work involved and they’re $180 ish on eBay per seat bottom. It was cheaper than replacing the seat. Guess I should have said it differently!

Here’s one that I switched, the other is still stock. The tension is due to lack of experience but can be made perfect. Doesn’t really bother me though just looks more plush, also I haven’t had anyone ever say anything. The color is 100% match. And also real leather. And should be stated that you must remove the seat/components/cushion for reupholster. Cheers.

Looks great. I'll bet this is a lot harder than one might think for a first timer.

A couple of guys detail their install over there. Looks like https://www.lseat.com/products/2007-...ers-front.html is another option for good leather.

Light colors are better than dark colors to manage heat...and while certainly not in style, Sheepskin style covers are great for hot/sweaty areas.
