tire pressure warninig light
Is there any way to disconnect the tire pressure warning light. I have one that just came on and Lexus wants to charge me $350 for each one. They also said once one goes the others will soon folow. Thanks.
Hello,
This forum section is for a 1st to 4th-gen ES, here is a section for your 5th-gen model.
First, try resetting sensors as it is described here. If that won't help, it appears that the only way to bypass it is to mess with the wiring, here is how to do it. Please do not cut the wiring, get a terminal form a junkyard and make an adapter as it is described here.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Mine died years ago and I never bothered to change them, I've driven loads of cars without TPMS before and I don't find it that helpful, all you need to do is check your tire pressure every month with a $5 tool from your favourite auto shop and also before long road trips, and that's it.
$65 x 4 is $260 which is two entire new tires, and the batteries only last the lifespan of the tire (in time, not kms).

I run low profile tires and by the time you notice a tire is going flat it’s usually too late. These Cali roads are brutal and I like knowing that when I hit a pothole I can easily see the air pressures while I drive.
