Default Carpet Floor Mats Recommendation

I never liked the OEMs as they are not true black and have sort of a grayish ting. I also don't want rubber. Thanks in advance.

We love our custom Weather Tech mats. They weren't cheap, but the quality is great! Too, they aren't the best looking mats, but as far as protecting your carpets, they can't be beat!

Thanks, but I'm looking for carpet/rug type material.

I have some WeatherTech mats en route for my wife’s car.
Looking forward to installing them when they finally arrive after getting the interior cleaned tomorrow.

Did you try and find brand new OEM black mats? There is a lady selling a full set and they look properly black to me (no grey colour tone).

As others have already mentioned, Weathertech floor liners are the "best" when it comes to protecting the carpet lining of the car. They offer function over form.

If you're looking for a weathertech floor line style mats that are carpeted then you will need to check sites like Ebay, Aloexpress, etc. Most of these mats mats are made with faux leather with various patterns (diamond stitching is the most common and favoured one).

I personally do not like them as they look out of place in cars that do not have an accurately matching interior colour or pattern of sticking on door cards, seats, etc. For what they cost, I would go with Weathertech....knowing that is NOT what you're looking for. I can't imagine putting my shoes on carpeted mats.

Well hell I, I guess I'll go ahead like the others here and suggest weather tech even though you don't want rubber and even though you're already satisfied with what you've bought. LOL

If you want carpet get Lloyds otherwise I'd go with the 3Ds which is a nicer material than rubber for a sedan.
