Car is all stock. 105k miles. no CEL at all.
When I'm accelerating the motor feels like it's vibrating. It only does this when giving it gas. usually from 40+
tires/wheels are in good shape and have been re-balanced and rotated but no change.
It does not shake when applying brakes.
It doesn't shake when I let off the gas and just roll down the freeway.
If I'm in park/neutral the motor revs up perfectly.
I have put in brand new plugs. no change.
I pulled 6 coils from another car and install them and it does the same thing. I even pull the the new plugs out and put in old ones. same thing.
Now. here are my thoughts...
It's an ignition issue. I think at idle there isn't enough load to generate a bad condition. Once you are driving with everything going, there is enough load to generate the vibrating condition.
When I first noticed it when I pulled the plugs to put in the new ones and the back middle plug had oil in it. a good amount. This will cause that short in the spark = misfire(vibrating).
I have cleaned/whipped/blew out all of the plug holes and I still have the same issue.
I have read it might be the axles that cause it. When this issue started the car has never been in a wreck / hit curbs or anything like that.
I'm a little puzzled right about now.
TIA for any input.

Ah, long time similar problem here. Will often vibrate under load. Replaced dog bone and front motor mount and no change. Still haven’t replaced the two side motor mounts. Replaced both front axles but used aftermarket parts and it remained. Oddly enough, what helped the most was new tires and an alignment-reduced it by about 80%.
Interesting note-camrys of the same generation actually had a tsb and replacement of the bell housing for similar vibrations. Never heard about it on a lexus forum before though.
