Question do i need new plugs

i have 83,000 miles on my 2001 gs 300. i noticed a little vibration when i sitting still. Do i need new spark plugs. My pick up has gotten a little sluggish even using 93 octane gas. Can i have them put in some new plugs and what kind do i need to use. And which ones should i not use. Bosch plantium???? or NGK????

If it has never had the plugs changed it would be a good idea to go ahead and change them. Check out this link for plugs for your car. I have heard good things from people who order from this site and they seem to carry everything in stock.

Personally I would run Denso IK16 or Ngk BKR6EIX-11 I have both of these in my Supra as well as my Gs and never have any issues. My Supra put down 576whp and 522wtq on pump gas using Ngk's with no firing issues after 5k mi. I ran regular Ngk's 3330's (v-power) and they were fried after 3k mi causing the same issues your having, rough idle and noticeably reduced power output.

P.s- Don't bother with platinum anything.

It couldn't hurt to change the plugs. That's part of maintenance anyways.

Changing the sparks is a good idea, but i do not think it will help with vibration. I currently am using Bosch Plat. 4+. Noticed a little difference in throttle response after changing.

One contributor to the engine vibration can be the engine mount. At 83,000 miles with over 6 years of life, the rubber mount will probably not be as good as new.
