Sorry to say, I'VE BEEN HAD!!!
Here's the story I brought my car back to my Lexus dealer 9:00AM this morning and as usual I was welcomed with open arms. I then was told to go to the recreation area where I had coffee and a danish. I will be called when my tech was available. After about 10 minutes they called me into her office to discuss this transmission recall. After the normal greeting I pulled out my iPhone and played the voicemail recording that said I would have my transmission replaced and get a loaner car FREE! She looked puzzled and picked up the phone and spoke to someone. She told me that it was a mistake. It should have been the passenger side airbag actuator replacement not a transmission.
I was sorta happy though since I always loved the shifting on the transmission in my ES350 compared to the problems I had on my previous 2004 ES330. (If you read some of my old posts you can see my frustrations with that crappy transmission).
I'll have them put in this airbag gizmo when I have the next service done in a few months.
Still and all, I'm kinda pissed off with this whole bother!

I feel your pain. I owned a 2005 ES330 for a year prior to getting my ES350 and the transmission was awful to say the least! I got rid of that car ASAP.
