Default 2007-2008 es350?

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a 2007 or 2008 es350, I've done quite a bit of research on them but have found very mixed reviews regarding their reliability. Ill be looking around 100k-120k miles on them and am looking for advice on buying one.

I bought my 2008 last year with 93k miles on it. These are super reliable cars. I only had to replace the right axle on mine so far but I went with aftermarket so it wasnt an expensive repair. Just make sure to check out the service history on the carfax and also on the lexus drivers site by entering the VIN. That site will show services completed at the Lexus dealership. As long as it's been serviced regularly, you should be good to go. Make sure it has had the Takata airbag recall completed as well. Good luck!

......And as well check for replacement of the old Water Pump with the new improved water pump, VVt-i hose with all-metal type and Decoupler alternator pulley

Here is my review of its "reliability" at 120K:

On another note, for whatever it's worth, even with all the "problems" car has, ES has been a raining reliability / durability winner for years with independent car reviewers, and that's why I chose it...
