Viper alarm with remote start?
Hi all,
Just pickup a 2017 ES350 last week and would like to install a Viper 2way alarm and remote start system. I am currently using the factory Lexus Enform Remote remote start but finds it annoying since once a door is opened, the engine shuts off.
Anyone has any experience with a remote start system that allows the engine to keep running when the door is opened?

That is how mine works.
The factory installed remote start on my wife's car (Lincoln/Ford product) mandates that once she is in the vehicle, she must depress the brake and push button start for an actual start.

Looks like aftermarket remote start is gonna do the same thing. After the car is remote started, the moment you open any doors, the car will shut down. there is is no way around it for a Toyota/Lexus Push to Start car.
